Based on historic Christian doctrines, Heartland Community Church offers outreach and community service programs for individuals and families. The church is comprised of various ministries, such as children's, high school, women s, men s and growth groups. It organizes a workshop, known as Rebuilders, which helps those who have experienced a divorce, and to resolve their current struggles and identify next steps in their spiritual and emotional growth. Heartland Community Church also organizes prayer services, luncheons, musical programs, carnivals, and fellowship nights and suppers. Its men s fraternity offers transformational teaching and small group sessions on various topics. The church s children's ministry covers biblically-based topics through small group talks and age-appropriate teachings. Heartland Community Church is located in Rockford, Ill.
