Rock Creek Church is "Trusting God to multiply diverse communities of people, transformed and empowered by the gospel." Our Values: -People. We are passionate about people, not programs. We recognize the value of each person as an image-bearer of God and as one for whom Christ died. Therefore, we invest in building relationships with people in order to nurture personal faith (1 Thessalonians 2:1-8). -Life Transformation. We desire to see Jesus and the gospel form and change us from the inside out. Therefore, our goal in the process of making disciples is not simply the transfer of information, but real-life change (Luke 7:36-50). -Spiritual Multiplication. We believe that we are called to pass on the faith to the next generation by modeling a genuine walk with Jesus and empowering those who have the character and competency to lead others. Therefore, we identify and train people who are willing to be servant leaders (2 Timothy 2:1-2).
