Forum Christian Church is a place for people who want a faith that connects to real life. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life, walked away for a season, or aren’t sure what you believe yet, Forum exists to help intentionally connect people to Jesus and grow into who God is forming them to be. What makes Forum unique is our intentional focus on becoming, not pretending. We believe following Jesus is a lifelong process, and we create space for people to come as they are while being lovingly invited toward growth and transformation. Our gatherings are thoughtful, biblically grounded, and practical, with teaching that speaks clearly to everyday life. You’ll hear truth taught with humility, grace, and an awareness of the world we’re actually living in. Community is central at Forum. We prioritize meaningful relationships across generations, not just attendance. From young adults to families to longtime believers, we work hard to create environments where people are known, supported, and challenged to live out their faith beyond Sunday mornings. At Forum, you won’t find pressure to have it all figured out. You’ll find a church that values honest questions, intentional discipleship, and a deep commitment to becoming more like Jesus—together.
We pursue the Christian way of life in our worship, teaching, serving and sharing. Three worship services on Sunday mornings provide great diversity of experience and classes and small groups for all ages contribute to our ongoing spiritual formation. We are a servant congregation serving the community and world.
Eminent Chicago architect T. N. Bell was the chief architect behind the monumental First Christian Church in Columbia, Missouri. It was erected in 1893 and is located at 101 North Tenth Street in Columbia. It stands as a fine illustration of the Romanesque and Classical Revival styles of architecture. It has a distinctive library that maintains a bevy of books, music CDs, video tapes, fine photographs, and much more. A renowned church structure in the vicinity, it had recorded as many as 836 participating members with an average attendance of 275 in 2007.
