Established in the year 1898 by Fr. Hyacinth Fudzinski, Corpus Christi Church is Romanesque community church in East side neighborhood. It is the focal point of Polish community life, every first Sunday of the month is Coffee Sunday at Corpus Christi. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays mass starts at 7:30a. The Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church is a magnificent church building established in 1894. Built with the Romanesque Revival style of architecture, it has a 120 feet (37 meters) tall bell tower. Constructed of sandstone, it has amazing details that add to its beauty. The building has be maintained well, and continues to hold regular services even today.
