First Baptist Church Hendersonville is one of the largest worship and recreational facilities in the city of Hendersonville. Located beside the Sumner County Family YMCA, First Baptist offers a full range of educational ministries for all ages as well as a Family Ministry Center complete with fitness center, adult and youth sports programs, a children's party room with play area, a library and a cafe. The church campus is also home to the BABBCENTER, a facility for pre-marital and marriage counseling, educational assessments, grief counseling, support services and employment services. The facilities of First Baptist are also occasionally used for community events. Service times and detailed information on the Family Ministry Center are available on the church website.

The Hendersonville Church of Christ is one of the largest churches in the Hendersonville community. Serving most of Hendersonville and Goodlettsville, this church provides Christian programs and religious education for children, youth, young adults, singles, couples, and senior adults. The church also operates an annexed area that serves as the location for a variety of youth activities and many educational meetings. Summer camp options for tweens and teens are provided at the church's camp location, Whispering Pines. This church also provides a preschool and kindergarten program with an excellent reputation for graduating students with high achievement records. The church facilities are also occasionally used for community events.
