Mount Vernon Unitarian Church is a proud member of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations (UUA) and an active presence in our local community. We seek a moral, religious, and ethical experience as a community and individually, and to provide a foundation for our children in which they can grow and learn as thoughtful and principled members of society. MVUC enjoys a rich worship environment, a dynamic religious education program for all ages, a wide range of adult activities, a strong social justice program, and a variety of opportunities to enjoy music and the arts.
Heart Church is a community of faith, located in the D.C. Metro Area, that provides safe spaces for individuals and families to connect with God and grow with others.
NewSong Assembly is a vibrant, Spirit-filled Christian church in Alexandria, Virginia, meeting every Sunday at 11am at Sandburg Middle School (8428 Fort Hunt Rd, Alexandria, VA 22308). We are part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God — a global family of believers — and our vision is simple: to build a growing community of disciples that is ethnically and generationally diverse. Led by Pastor Fikayo Olu-Ayeni and his wife Kofo, NewSong is known for worship that feels fresh and alive, and for biblical teaching that is straightforward, relatable, and relevant to everyday life. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church home where you truly belong, you'll find a warm, casual atmosphere and friendly faces ready to welcome you. Beyond Sunday services, NewSong offers free structured programs to help you grow — including the Believers' Academy (an 8-week Christian foundations course) and the Prayer Academy. You can also join one of our Vision Teams and serve alongside a passionate community making a real difference. Watch us live on YouTube or listen to our messages on podcast. We'd love to meet you — come as you are.
