Brush Fire Guard by Russelllandscape of Santa Barbara California specializes in a three phase brush clearance Program to help protect your yard. Our program of brush clearance, plant installation & reforestation creates a safe environment for properties in areas of high fire risk zones by making a defensible space on property called a fire barrier for existing structures, plants and trees by separation from impeding brushfires taking away the fuel needed to burn reducing the spreading time of the flames throughout potentially saving it from ruins and by giving you extra valuable time to evacuate safely. Brush Fire Guard by Russelllandscape is a brush clearance program designed to each property's unique typography, micro environments, soil condition, various types of dry dead brush, plants, trees and debris such as logs or wood piles found to exist during our assessment and bidding process of the property. We do not clear away all the foliage from a property during the brush clearance for we leave in place the healthy & esthetically valuable foliage. During phase two, Plant Installation & Reforestation: the planting of drought tolerant plants possessing greater flame resistance such as native succulents and cactus & tree planting for reforestation of the property. Phase three of our program is Property Landscape Control aka property maintenance offered as a follow up service to insure the safest available way to protect your property from brushfire.
