Established in 1922, the North Greece Fire District works to protect the lives and property of residents through fire prevention, education and emergency medical services. The district offers mitigation solutions for natural and manmade disasters. The Ridge Road Fire District also administers a public education program. It is approved by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International. The district conducts home inspections for smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarm systems. The Ridge Road Fire District additionally performs technical rescue operations. It operates an information technology division that is responsible for the development, administration and management of database and record management systems.
