Fayetteville Public Library, founded in 1916, operates from Monday through Friday. It is located in Fayetteville, Ark., and offers various programs and services for children, young adults, and physically challenged people, such as preschool, toddler and baby story times, creative writing workshops and arts festival. It also offers poetry reading, book reading, computer classes, teen knitting, teen library club, and open microphone night and genealogy workshop. Its facilities include meeting room, community room and board room, and provides amenities, such as sink, refrigerator, oven, grand piano, podium, portable stage, console-controlled lighting, shades, screen, camera, projector and video player. The library offers a collection of board books, picture books, books in Spanish, easy readers, juvenile fiction and nonfiction books, newspaper and magazines. In addition, it also provides reference resources, electronic databases, films, DVDs, music CDs, educational games on CD-ROM, parenting resources, puzzles, and educational kits. Founded in 1996, Bella Vista Public Library is a public library serving the Bella Vista community and beyond. The library measures a total of 13,580 square feet. It offers a wide range of books on CD, DVDs, large print books, books for parents, children as well as young adults. In addition to books and other circulating materials, Bella Vista Public Library hosts various events, including children's events and adult speaker series.
