The Health & Wellness Library is operated by the Grossmont Healthcare District and is one of the few libraries in the country that focuses on only Health & Wellness resources. It was created to meet the health information needs of local residents by providing current health information from authoritative and reliable sources, in both print and online formats. Our library offers research assistance, free health education programs, pamphlets, DVDs, anatomical models, charts, online databases, fitness kits that can be checked out to try at home, and a website with extensive links to all major health topics. The Library space is open to the public. Our materials can be checked out by those who live, work, attend school, or access health care services in East County. Check for your eligibility using our District map found under the Governance tab at grossmonthealthcare.org. And learn more and sign up for a library card at ghdhealthlibrary.org.
