With creative and interesting events for people of all ages, strata and walks of life lined up all through the year, the San Marcos Branch Library situated on Civic Center Drive is a very important part of the local community. From storytelling sessions and language classes to writing classes and painting workshops, everything organized at the San Marcos Branch Library is aimed at bringing people from disparate backgrounds in the community together through learning and creativity. This library offers high-speed WiFi connectivity and also houses a meeting room that can seat up to 28 delegates.
Our mission is to inspire lifelong learning through connections to knowledge and each other. We have a collection of over 115,000 items, and we can retrieve items from any other location in the San Diego Public Library System, free of change, giving our patrons access to almost 4 million items. We also have 30 internet computers are available for the public. Our collection includes thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks which you can download from the comfort of your own home. We also offer free daily programs for children and adults, including story times, exercise classes, lectures and book clubs, and concerts.
