The Auraria Library works as a shared library for the Community College of Denver, the Metropolitan State College of Denver and the University of Colorado at Denver. It offers services to more than 30,000 students who are enrolled at the institutions. It also houses a computer laboratory for students with disabilities and provides special assistance to them. The library supports research and service requirements of all faculty members and outreach mission of each of the three institutions. It offers a large collection of subject books and journals, general and class guides, biographies, technological literature and government articles. It provides at-distance accessible services and resources through which nearly 250 online databases can be accessed by students, faculty and staff from off-campus. The Auraria Library has a more than 180,000-square-foot building facility in Denver.
