New Canaan Museum & Historical Society

The studio, built in honor of renowned 19th-century American artist John Rogers, is fondly called the John Rogers Studio. Built in 1878, the studio follows the ethnic Gothic-Victorian style of architecture. It boasts of being one of two National Historic Landmarks in New Canaan and is known as the "people's sculptor" John Roger's magnificent design. It can be toured from Tuesdays to Fridays between 9:30a and 4:30p, while the Saturday timings are 9:30a to 12:30p.

White Plains High School

White Plains High School offers more than 300 courses to students in grades nine through 12, and is located in White Plains, N.Y. It is designated a Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence by the New York State Education Department and the Department of Education. It offers a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, computer science, social studies and science, and advanced placement courses in all major subjects, including business and technology. The school s 72-acre campus includes a media center, science classrooms, tennis courts, swimming pool and a fitness center. Extracurricular programs include more than 50 clubs, literary publications and performing arts groups and over 45 athletic teams.
