The Jacksonville Public Library's Main Library branch is 300,000 sq. ft. The city's public libraries also includes twenty other regional and neighborhood branches. Easily the largest and most frequented, the Main Library does not offer food only for the mind but also presents one with manna for the soul in the form of poetry programs, book clubs, Sunday concerts and team programs for the community. Innovative initiatives like Book a Librarian and Ride to Read ensure a steadily increasing percentage of readers among the masses. The library also offers the visually or physically impaired the services of Braille books and other specialized help. The Main Library is that place in the city which not only helps you to be a well-read person but also guarantees a more evolved and involved community.
