The mission of Taylor Community Library is to enrich our community through information, education, technology, and cultural opportunities. The library is a space for human connection, creating accessible opportunities and resources to learn new skills or experiment with ideas. It also provides the support people need to improve their lives.
The Riverview Veterans Memorial Library is among the finest of our community resources. We have over 60,00 books, audiobooks and DVDs for borrowing as well as eBooks available through Overdrive.com. All of our materials are FREE to patrons and require nothing more than a current library card. In addition to Wi-Fi and stationary computers for Internet access, printing, copying, scanning, and faxing services, we offer our patrons a full line of complimentary services: * Seasonal Reading Programs and Special Events for all ages * Multiple stimulating Special Topics Lecture Series each year
The St Clair Shores Public Library offers the city's residents a wealth of information, educational and cultural resources. Not only does the library boast a diverse collection of books that cover a wide range of topics, the library also lends it support to reading clubs and organizes events like story times, craft workshops and movie screenings. While internet based resources and virtual worlds thrive, there is nothing quite like the comfort and companionship that is offered by a good book. Nevertheless, the St Clair Shores Public Library also offers a variety of internet-based resources including ebooks and audio books. Of special interest is the library's collection dealing with local history and genealogy.
