National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory, also known as NSCL, is one of the leaders in rare isotope research and nuclear science education in the world. Located on the campus of Michigan State University, its scientists and researchers employ a range of tools for conducting advanced research in fundamental nuclear science, astrophysics and accelerator physics. National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory operates as a national user facility that serves more than 700 researchers from over 100 institutions in nearly 35 countries.
