Set on a 460-acre (186.16 hectares) plot of land in northwest Tulsa, the Gilcrease Museum houses over 10,000 artistic pieces, including the one of the world's largest single art collection from Western America. There is also a huge number of Native American artifacts and artistic offerings on display. Gilcrease also presents 23 acres of thematic gardens showcasing the gardening styles of different time periods in the American West. All of this is free of charge, with donations accepted. The Central Library, also known as CE, features a range of reference materials and educational resources on various topics. The library is equipped with more than 55 computer systems. It also maintains meeting rooms and maintains research and media centers. The library s children s department operates storytime and computer training programs. The Central Library conducts theme tours for children in grades two through six. The library displays a doll collection and administers the Surprising Science Fair Project. It offers outreach services for physically and economically disabled people. The library operates an English language learning program that serves over 190 adults, as well as a student book club. The Central Library is a part of the Tulsa City-County Library.
