The Art of Forgiveness

I am writing to express my interest in [specific position or consulting opportunity] with [organization name]. As the owner of Art of Forgiveness and a community consultant specializing in healing and reconciliation, I bring over twelve years of experience in guiding individuals and groups through the powerful process of forgiveness. Through my unique blend of practices—including sound healing, painting, nature walks, dance, journaling, and conversation—I help people tap into their deepest wounds and release the emotional burden of unforgiveness. My work is deeply personal. The tragic murder of my son, Dewight, was a pivotal moment in my life. From that unimaginable loss, I found the transformative power of forgiveness. This personal journey has fueled my commitment to help others heal and find peace, no matter how painful their experiences. I have shared this message in workshops, community events, and one-on-one consultations, building a space for individuals to explore their grief and move toward healing. In addition to my healing work, I have contributed to the community in Arizona by serving as a pillar and bridge for those in need. Through our program, we create recyclable instruments, which not only foster creativity but also connect people to a sense of purpose and collective healing. My diverse skill set, combined with my life experiences, allows me to connect with people from all walks of life and support them in their personal healing journeys.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona

The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters is to provide Arizona youth facing adversity with professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with volunteers who change their lives for the better. The youth in our program are between ages 6-18 and reside in areas throughout Maricopa, Gila and Pinal counties. The majority of these kids live in low-income, single-parent familiy homes or have a parent in prison. While their backgrounds are diverse, all of the youth share the desire to have a positive role model (mentor) in their lives. Youth and mentors meet up 2-4 times per month for at least 1 year to do things they both enjoy on days / times that are convenient for both. All mentors and youth are supported by a Program Specialisty who will provide activity ideas, advice and guidance for the duration of the match relationship.
