Robyne's Nest walks alongside students experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and other significant challenges—many with little to no consistent adult support—helping them stay in school, graduate, and build lives of stability, confidence, and possibility. Our students are referred by administrators and staff from the Huntington Beach and Newport Mesa school districts and are committed to maintaining a healthy, substance-free lifestyle as part of their journey toward stability and independence. Each one continues to show up to school, seeking belonging, safety, and consistency—often without the family support most of us take for granted. By helping students stay in school, we take a proactive approach to prevent cycles of homelessness, substance use, crime, human trafficking, and early parenthood. Together, as a community, we have the opportunity and responsibility to care for these youth and ensure they are not left behind. At Robyne’s Nest, we believe every student deserves the chance to rewrite their story—and create a future filled with possibility and hope.

The problem of homeless animals in California continues to worsen. We have been called to act and to help the ever-rising population of animals who beg for rescue. In an effort to help, we have been working to rehome animals locally and with out-of-state rescues to transport animals to areas such as Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Western Canada where shelters are less impacted and these animals are readily adopted. We partner with organizations sharing our rescue philosophy and procedures that speak to a high standard in order to ensure these worthy animals are placed in excellent homes. In order to save even more animals, we are continuously searching for new places that they may soon call home.
