Media Alliance was founded in 1976 by Bay Area media workers who wanted deeper connections with social justice movements and a communications system that worked in the interests of peace, justice and social responsibility. Forty-one years later, we are one of the oldest media change organizations in the United States.
Moldovan Community in CA is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) registered organization that was founded on June 18, 2014 in San Francisco, CA. Our community is engaged in educational and cultural activities. Through our activities, we aim to educate the people of California about the existence of the Republic of Moldova in South-Eastern Europe and about the Moldovan community in San Francisco Bay Area, to promote Romanian language, and to share the beautiful traditions of Moldova. Another important aspect of our activity is to serve as a connecting hub between Moldovan and Californian business networks, and to provide educational and informational services for businesses in Moldova to help them become valuable players in local Moldovan markets, as well as in the broader European and US markets.
