Autism Care Today

Autism Care Today (formerly ACT Today), is one of the only nonprofits that serves families directly with product and treatment services. While most ASD nonprofits provide only awareness and research - both very important services for the cause, families have the opportunity to apply for a grant from ACT Today for funding assistance through a wide-range of unique programs

Community Conscience

We offer rent-free space to non-profit social service organizations in our 22,000 square-foot building. This results in about $250,000 in savings each year, which the non-profits are now able to use to deliver services to their clients. In 2018, over 50,000 people received help from these organizations. Community Conscience also provides a telephone referral service that helps individuals locate needed services.

Heartbeat of Champions Foundation

Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the number one killer of high school age student athletes in the nation. SCA is the sudden disruption of the electrical signals of the heart. There are warning signs prior to SCA like chest pain, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, fainting or lightheadedness. There are incidents where there are no warning signs and you suddenly collapse with loss of consciousness with no breathing or pulse. Heartbeat of Champions (HOC) Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit group that screens teens for signs and symptoms of SCA. We do this through a thorough family history, cardiac screening with electrocardiogram (EKG) and, if necessary, echocardiography. HOC also gives training to each attendee how to perform CPR (CardioPulmonary Resuscitation) and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). We provide our screenings at our office in Thousand Oaks.
