Brain Matters Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and a registered charity in the state of Colorado. This Foundation was started by Amanda and George Morris after Amanda was diagnosed with a Grade 2 Atypical Meningioma in the fall of 2021. Brain Matters Foundation raises awareness about brain tumors, creates resources for brain tumor patients through fundraising, gives support to their caregivers & families, and advocates for testing in annual exams for early detection of brain tumors. Our mission is recovering local food networks. A nation where small farmers are valued, locally grown food is accessible to purchase, and diverse and healthy food is celebrated.
