I am Brent Kirkpatrick and I joined Meals of Hope after volunteering at a local meal packing event. I was hooked on the shared experience of making meals that will be kept local, and the team building bond that was formed over the two-hour event. It was such a fun time that brought everyone together, I knew I had to become much more involved. Finding out that 1 in 7 children here in Missouri face food insecurity – I am on a mission to bring local Missouri communities together to end hunger! I was born and raised here in Missouri and attended the University of Missouri – Columbia. I love to have fun and live life to the fullest, which includes giving back.
