ACCOLADE Celebrations, Inc provides coordinated volunteer and service-learning opportunities that serve to help the homeless in Marion County, Florida. Our BAgs To Care for the Homeless (B.A.T.C.H.) initiative facilitates the preparation and distribution of Bags-To-Go which are filled with resource information and basic necessities. Our monthly Ovations Award showcases everyday people who have helped to improv the well-being of the homeless through an Act of Kindness. Our Acts of Kindness Award is an annual awards and recognition gala to: 1) celebrate ordinary people who have committed their time and energy to improving the lives of those in their communities; 2) bring awareness to the prevalence of homelessness in Florida; and 3) raise funds for the volunteer activities ACCOLADE Celebrations coordinates and for a local homeless shelter.
