At Rescue Media Mission, we do more than just pick up books — we give them a second life. We offer free pickup of books, CDs, DVDs, video games, and more, keeping them out of landfills and redistributing them to individuals, schools, libraries, and nonprofits. What makes us unique is our mission: we’re not a junk removal service — we’re a movement to rescue stories, music, and knowledge and get them into the hands of those who will cherish them. CardioStart is an international humanitarian healthcare organization. For more than 25 years we have provided free cardiovascular surgery and medical services to those in need in underserved regions of the world. Since 1987, CardioStart has collaborated with impoverished hospitals and physicians to perform and teach advanced cardiac surgeries, pacemaker implantations, ICU procedures and critical care nursing. CardioStart’s intent is to teach the local doctors and nurses advanced cardiac care, elevating surgical outcomes and overall patient care long after CardioStart volunteers depart the country. Additionally, CardioStart regularly ships cargo containers of donated medical supplies and equipment to the hospitals of upcoming missions.
