Change Course

At Change Course, participants—who we call Leaders—move through a tuition-free, five-month program designed to help them build a stronger future for themselves and their families. The program begins with seven weeks of Personal Development focused on areas like communication, confidence, life skills, workplace readiness, overcoming barriers, and setting meaningful goals. From there, Leaders work one-on-one with our team to identify a career path and complete funded short-term education or industry-recognized certification in fields such as healthcare, skilled trades, transportation, technology, and other in-demand careers. The final phase of the program focuses on Career Launch, where Leaders receive coaching, resume and interview support, employer connections, and help finding meaningful employment with opportunities for long-term growth. But Change Course is about more than getting a job. At the heart of our program are deep, sustained relationships. Leaders are surrounded by coaches, staff, volunteers, employers, and community members who walk alongside them throughout the program and beyond graduation. Through weekly Community Gatherings, individual coaching, mentorship, and ongoing alumni support, we help Leaders build the relationships, confidence, skills, and opportunities needed to create lasting change.
