Operating for over 50 years, the Center coordinates the largest volunteer matching database in the Triangle. HandsOnTriangle is the "e-harmony" for volunteers and nonprofits (FREE Service). We work with over 1,200 area nonprofits that post volunteer opportunities as well as providing training, resources and support for all area nonprofits. We have strong student programs that develop leadership skills while encouraging youth to volunteer and make a difference in their communities. Annually students volunteer over 30,000 hours through our programs. Our corporate volunteer programs engage local businesses to give back and get involved with area nonprofits. The Center also works with social services to support those most vulnerable in our communities through Backpacks for Kids, Thanksgiving Dinners and Share your Christmas--assisting over 2,000 each year.
