Hudson Milestones seeks to build and maintain a Hudson County based organization dedicated to the care, support and advancement of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families towards achieving, to the maximum extent possible, the individual's life goals and establishing self-sufficiency in the community.
Established in 1963, Child Development Center is a part of Hudson Milestones that provides day care services for children below 3 years of ages. It offers opportunities for games and activities, as well as provides food and transportation services. Established in 1950, Hudson Milestones offers services for individuals with developmental disabilities. It provides in-home respite care, financial assistance and after-school services. The organization provides nursing care and physical, occupational and speech therapy services. Additionally, Hudson Milestones offers housing services through its group homes and supervised apartments. It also provides training in collating, mailing, packaging and shredding. The Child Development Center is located in Jersey City, N.J.
