A Scarlet Covering is for women, and children who are involved in or have been affected by the sex industry, (prostitution, stripping, sex trafficking, pornography etc.) As a result of the sex industry life issues of HIV, abuse, addiction and feelings of loneliness, guilt and shame. Nevada Volunteers, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is the Governor's commission that selects and administers AmeriCorps*State programs in Nevada. We also serve as Nevada's primary resource center for volunteer and service efforts. We inspire people to engage in acts of giving and service. We seek funding to meet critical needs in Nevada through service and volunteerism. We inspire a culture of volunteerism that affects lives and enhances the quality of life for all.

Al-anon family groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve their common problems. Alcoholism is a family illness and change attitudes can aid recovery. This meeting is locally held at Reno Assembly of God, 524 Bell St in Reno NV at 5pm to 6pm every Wednesday. This meeting is to give encouragement and understand to the alcoholics.
