The Miss Southeastern Massachusetts Scholarship Organization is a 501c3 Non-Profit. Our mission is to advance the creation, promotion, and support of educational, achievement, and community service opportunities for young women in the State of MA. We are a part of the Miss America Organization that awards millions in cash and in-kind scholarships annually. Young women will compete for our titles with the winners moving on to compete in Miss Massachusetts and Miss Massachusetts’ Teen! This unique opportunity is a year- round program of “Style, Service, Scholarship and Success” – representing the four points of the Miss America and Miss America’s Teen crown. Participants acquire life long skills, meet other like-minded women, cultivate their own personal style, and engage within their communities. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Our vision is that all youth achieve their full potential. The Donation Center Foundation of Rhode Island's mission is to engage in activities to raise funds to support the mission and purposes of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island, and other charities/mentoring programs in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
The PACE Organization of Rhode Island, also known as PORI, offers a range of health and supportive services for senior citizens living in Rhode Island. It provides various in-home care, transportation and medical services. The organization offers appointments and check-ups from medical specialists, such as dentists, optometrists, audiologists, podiatrists and psychiatrists. The PACE Organization of Rhode Island also provides physical, speech and occupational therapies. Additionally, it conducts several therapeutic activities at its centers. The organization is located in Providence, R.I. The PACE Organization of Rhode Island offers emergency services and medical equipment.
The Ronald McDonald House of Providence provides programs that directly improve the health and well-being of hospitalized children and their families. Our programs allow families to spend additional time with a sick child, help ease financial burdens, provide a sense of normalcy and keep families together during times of medical crisis.
