Operation Predator Shield (OPS-FB) was founded in 2022 with the sole purpose of removing active profiles belonging to Convicted Sexual Predators (CSP's) off the Facebook (Meta) platform- and did so at a 100% success rate. Unfortunately, in late 2023 Facebook made an extremely poor decision to switch from our human moderation to AI moderation essentially stripping us of our powers. This change however, has not hindered our pursuit of making online and local communities a safer place for all. Now, we take inquiries and tips from the public on a wide range of topics that pose a concern or threat to our children and families of our communities. Our all volunteer team utilizes OSINT analysis to conduct open source "investigations" of proposed concerns. We then organize our evidence, type up a report and if there are any indicators that a potential crime has been/about to be or ongoing, we immediately turn over our report to the appropriate law enforcement agency for further investigation. We are not a law enforcement agency and do not claim to be. We operate under all local, state and federal laws in regards to our OSINT analysis, collection and reporting. Furthermore, we do this in our free time, for the betterment of the community, protection of our youth, victims and families for no monetary gain. We are not here to make money.
