The Alamo Area Resource Center (AARC) was founded in 1990 to assist in meeting the needs of individuals who are homeless, disabled or facing life challenging illnesses, including but not limited to HIV/AIDS in Bexar County and surrounding areas. Located at 303 N. Frio, AARC serves as one of the primary social service organizations in Bexar County and the surrounding area by providing and coordinating services to eligible individuals.
The Blueprint Sports Foundation is dedicated to providing under privileged and at-risk youth in San Antonio with opportunities to excel in both athletics and academics. The foundation's goal is to increase life skills, self-esteem, develop healthy lifestyle through sports participation and provide academic support as well as preparation for college. Through the delivery of these programs, we aim to create a positive impact on our community by helping better prepare children for life opportunities while reducing absenteeism in schools by assisting with their education needs through mentoring, tutoring, counseling and preparing them for college entrance requirements.
