Genesis Manor VI is a licensed board and care home on Amethyst Avenue in the Alta Loma neighborhood of Rancho Cucamonga, caring for six residents at a time in a real house on a residential street. A board and care home, also called a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly or RCFE, is the small-scale alternative to a large assisted living community. Six residents, home-cooked meals, and caregivers who know every resident by name and by history. We help with the activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting, along with assistance with medications, housekeeping, laundry, and daily meals prepared in the kitchen you can see from the living room. We care for residents living with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, and the effects of stroke. When a resident enters hospice, we coordinate with their licensed hospice agency so they can remain in their room, with people they know, rather than moving again. We accept private pay, Medi-Cal including the Assisted Living Waiver program, which has no share of cost, and VA Aid and Attendance benefits. Founded in 1999.
