The Evolving Door provides a coed and child-friendly SLE-style clean and sober home for alcoholics, addicts, and others in recovery in the Santa Cruz, CA mountains. We are known as "The Mansion" due to its spacious quarters, The Evolving Door home is located close to the beach, within walking distance of bus stops, stores, and 12-step meetings.
Each Touched by Angel's caregiver is carefully screened with a background check and fingerprinting. They are thoroughly educated with on-going home care training, along with being insured and bonded to guarantee that you receive the highest quality care available. Touched by Angels caregivers personally choose their vocation because they are devoted to caring for others, making peoples lives easier and filled with the special touch that only our Angels are known for. We understand the trust that you are putting in our staff and caregivers, and our entire business CAREteam will go the extra mile to fulfill your home care expectations. We keep in close contact with you and your caregiver to make sure everything is going well.
Mission Statement The Senior Center's purpose is to provide a place where seniors may find companionship, help and the opportunity to pursue their interest in educational, recreational and craft activities; and to promote the goodwill and public interest of the community. It is a non-profit, non-sectarian and non-political organization of friendly neighbors. To be eligible for membership you must be 50 years old or older. Membership is $20 per year payable each July 1st (new members will be pro-rated).
