Carroll Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a more than 200-bed Medicare- and Medicaid-certified health care facility. It is accredited by the Joint Commission. The center features individualized geriatric treatment and rehabilitative care and offers a range of outpatient services and specialty programs. In addition, Carroll Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center features a chapel, private and semiprivate rooms, and protected gardens and courtyards. It offers physical, occupational and speech therapies, nursing and pastoral care, and case and nutrition management. The center also offers therapeutic exercises for stroke rehabilitation, wound care and joint mobilization. Carroll Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is located in Washington, D.C.
Since 1888, The Washington Home and Community Hospices' has served our most vulnerable citizens: elderly, chronically, and terminally ill people. We help people recuperate in our rehabilitation unit to return to their homes. We give them safe haven in our long-term care and special care units when aging and illness limit their independence. We comfort them with hospice care through their final stages of living and we encircle grieving families and friends with bereavement support.
