Heritage Community of Kalamazoo is a nonprofit senior housing facility in Kalamazoo, Mich., and is governed by a volunteer board of directors of community leaders. The community serves more than 500 seniors and their families in independent living, Alzheimer s care, assisted living and skilled nursing care. It offers several retirement facilities, including Wyndham Retirement Apartments, Heritage Hills and Westland Meadows. The community offers assisted living services 24-hours a day through Director's Hall and Wyndham West campuses. Its skilled nursing services include diagnosis-based care planning, administration of medications and medical treatment. Heritage Community of Kalamazoo also provides a full range of therapies, such as physical occupational, restorative, speech, recreational and music therapy, supervised by licensed professionals.
