The mission of Arrowhead Transit is to provide affordable, safe, accessible public transportation in support of independent living and an increased quality of life for the people of Northeastern Minnesota. It provides coordinated public transportation to the residents of seven counties that include Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis. Arrowhead Transit provides flexible service with several routes to choose from. Founded in 1974, Arrowhead Transit is located in Gilbert, Minn.
