In the name of Jesus Christ, Christian Community Action ministers to the poor by providing comprehensive services to alleviate suffering, bring hope, and change lives. Financial Assistance - We offer financial assistance for helping with rent and utility bills to prevent homelessness. Food Pantry - Our Food Pantry is located at 200 S. Mill Street in Lewisville. The pantry is set up as a self-selection grocery store that is fully stocked with food, household items, and hygiene products. Kids Eat Free - We ensure that children receive a nutritious lunch during the week and a weekend supply of food when school is not in session. Back-to-School - We provide backpacks filled with school supplies and clothing vouchers. Christmas Cheer - We provide toys, gifts, age-appropriate books and stockings. All gifts are unwrapped providing parents with gift wrap, bows, and batteries. Golden Angels - Provides elderly clients with numerous opportunities for social interaction, free healthy meals, access to the Food Pantry and more. Training Programs - Programs include GED and ESL classes, computer skills, and financial literacy classes. Spiritual Counseling - Our Case Managers provide these services with a heavy focus on getting to know the client and forming the relationship through trust and empathetic listening, with an opportunity to share the gospel.
