Hour Church
hOURCHURCH is a small, friendly church based completely on Bible Study. Pastor Steve Verret is a Bible teacher who is the creator of the "Bible for Dummies" class and teaches God's Word in a plain, simple, fun manner that allows the "class" (church) to better understand what God wants us to learn and do! During the service, handouts with an outline of the lesson and scripture are issued and questions are allowed, with Pastor Steve patiently answering for all to learn.
People have their doubts when it comes to connecting with a church for the first time. If you're like most people, the thought of having to start new or start over can leave you feeling overwhelmed and like you don't even know where to begin. We believe no one should feel lost when connecting at church. Here at Coastline, we want you to learn more about God, and faith, and to discover your God-given purpose for life.
We are a racially diverse, multi-generational Christian church committed to bringing hope to North San Diego County and the world. Our mission is to help unchurched people become fully devoted followers of Christ.
What is Spirit Harbor? A harbor is both a place and an action. A place of refuge from life's storms...where the Holy Spirit is free to move in our minds and to work in our hearts...that we might become God's people in action. We are an independent Lutheran faith community in North County, San Diego. We operate as our own identity that preaches the story of Jesus in a contemporary worship service that appreciates traditional service elements. We would rather focus on living out God's will rather than tying ourselves to a specific denomination or affiliation. Put simply, our mission is to reach out in our community, find the unchurched, help them grow in their own faith, and be the people God has asked us to be.
