Shelter Cove Community Church is a Bible-teaching, Bible-believing, family-friendly church in Modesto, CA! Your kids will love exploring our programs for all ages on Saturdays at 4:30 PM and 6 PM and Sundays at 8:30 AM, 10 AM, and 11:30 AM.

In September 2009, a group of 40 people were sent out from Modesto Covenant Church to start a new church in east Modesto. Our goal was to start a church to reach people who had left church, or had not gone to church, but were looking for God and fun and something deeper. We started weekly services just before Easter, 2010. We met for 5 years at Enochs High School, Orchard Elementary, and we have just purchased property and look to have our first service in our own building (4825 Roselle Ave.) on September 13, 2015!. Our church has grown to over 175 coming regularly, with great ministries for kids, youth, college, and adults. We have incredible events and we serve locally and around the world. We have just started our story, but God is doing great things!
We are a church of REAL PEOPLE, a safe place for you to discover God. We teach the Bible, which provides answers to life’s REAL ISSUES and that REAL HOPE is available through Jesus. (Matt 22:39) We have fun at church and laugh a lot! Joy is good medicine for the soul. (Proverbs 17:22) We believe the church is a place where anyone can find restoration and healing.
