We are a congregation devoted to Christ-centered worship, preaching, and the sacraments, rooted in the historic, universal (catholic) church as expressed through the Reformed faith. In communion with the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC), we seek to love, worship, and glorify God with all our hearts, minds, soul, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves through Gospel proclamation and works of mercy. Committed to the authority of the Word of God, our worship centers on the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—as we joyfully gather around and under the Word, partake of the sacraments, and engage in earnest prayer. We strive to live in keeping with the new identities we have been given in Christ, supporting one another as a community of fellow believers. We are dedicated to helping individuals and families grow in Christ, nurturing our children in the faith, and equipping future church leaders. We also minister to area college students and work alongside brothers and sisters across denominations. We have a heart for evangelism and love to bring the Good News of Christ to our neighbors here in the San Gabriel Valley. Whether you're exploring the Christian faith, looking for a church home, or seeking to grow deeper in Christ, we welcome you to worship with us. Come experience the grace and clarity of the Reformed faith expressed in warm Christian fellowship.
Welcome to our Church. Since 1980, we have served a growing congregation in Pasadena and surrounding communities. It is with great pride today we extend our help across the entire San Gabriel Valley from our home in the heart of historic Old Pasadena. To that end, we are committed to upholding the rich heritage that has imbued Pasadena with its cultural values and quality of life. We look forward to working together with every individual and group dedicated to achieving our shared dreams of drug-free, crime-free communities and a flourishing future for all generations to come. Our doors are open. Our help is yours. Come by for a tour!
Missio believes that exploring our questions and doubts strengthens faith and pleases God. We have a Q&A time after each sermon, and reach out to skeptics at Caltech through a ministry called Science And Faith Examined.
Our church is a friendly, welcoming place. We seek to be a community that helps people reconnect with their faith and a church. Our mission is to revive believers through genuine community and gospel-centered theology. We reach out to our friends who also need community and the understanding of God's grace. Finally, we aim to reflect Christ by serving the needy of our city and each other.
