Mission of Our Parish Our parish is a vibrant community of faith rooted in the tradition of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church. Guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we strive to grow in holiness, deepen our spiritual life, and share God’s love with all people. We are committed to: Celebrating the Holy Mysteries with reverence and joy. Nurturing the faith of our children, youth, and families through prayer, catechesis, and fellowship. Preserving and promoting our Ukrainian spiritual, cultural, and liturgical heritage. Supporting one another as members of the Body of Christ in times of joy and in times of need. Witnessing to God’s Kingdom through acts of charity, stewardship, and service to our neighbors. With gratitude for the gifts we have received, we dedicate ourselves to building a welcoming and Christ-centered parish family where everyone can encounter the living God.
St. Lawrence Elementary School was established in 1961 and serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It is accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association. The school offers extended care services and conducts classes in various subjects, such as math, science, social studies, language arts, music and physical education. St. Lawrence Elementary School also provides various programs in Spanish language. The school features a library that provides several books and reference materials. It encourages participation in several extracurricular programs, such as science fairs, Christmas parties, choir and band. St. Lawrence Elementary School s sports activities include football, basketball, volleyball, softball, and track and field. It has a computer center in each classroom. The school is located in Santa Clara, Calif.
