In 2006, Matt Hearn and his wife Lori moved to Pooler Georgia to start Gateway at the Pooler YMCA. Since then, God has moved mountains, hundreds of people have been saved, lives have been changed, marriages have been restored and so much more. Our mission since the first day has not changed - to invest in and invite people into a growing relationship with Christ. Gateway exists because you matter to God. You have a purpose and we want to help you become the person God created you to be. We get to do this!
We are a small ministry of caring people who love God and try to initiate Him by showing the live of Christ through our actions and deeds. Our setting is informal with attention to the teaching of God's word and acceptance of all people. Although we are a small group we are looking to grow our ministry through outreach and community engagement.
