At American Barbell Clubs, "The workout IS the experience!" We've created an environment where a serious approach to performance based training and conditioning is the accepted norm, not something that "doesn't belong here". As many health clubs move toward a one-size-fits-all solution for fitness, we've embraced the idea that people want to work hard, they want to be in an environment where all forms of training are acceptable and they want to be successful in achieving their fitness goals. DMC Studio is a free after-school space that holds workshops in Spoken Word, Video Production, Photography, and Music Recording.
Imagine a community where all children are empowered with the skills and self confidence to succeed, a community where adults reach out to inspire underserved youth to Dare to Dream. At The Role Model Program, our initiatives work to create this community by providing positive role models for youth in need of hope, inspiration and guidance throughout Santa Clara County, CA. In just one hour a week for eight weeks, The Role Model Program, through its signature Community Classroom Visit Program, provides the adult role models and life skills to transform the goals, dreams and aspirations of underserved youth. We welcome fourth and fifth and seventh and eighth grade teachers within underserved schools to request The Community Classroom Visit Program and caring adults to become Role Model Volunteers to support our belief that investing time in our youth is essential for a strong community.
