It's the World's Oldest Corvette Club - Officially in continuous operation since July 17, 1956. We are a Social Corvette Club. Our members are Corvette Owners or folks that enjoy the mystique and history of America's Sport Car. We hold Autocross events, we have luncheons and dinners, we hold an annual Car Show at Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring, MD; we present a display of Corvettes at the Washington DC Auto Show; We have events for our members like tripes to a winery, brewery or distillery. We have an Annual Winter Dinner and an Annual Founder's Day Picnic in July. We also use the proceeds from our Car Shows and Autocross events to support our charities. We support the National Corvette Museum (NCM) and the NCM motorsports Park; Tire Rack Street Survival; and the Traffic Safety Education Foundation. Locally we support the University of Maryland's Mechanical Engineering Department; Toys for Tots, Caring Matter and Wells/Robertson's House. We have our monthly publication, The Courier, going back over 12 years. Many interesting articles to be found there about Corvettes, Corvette history, and what we do. We travel to the National Corvette Museum, and every five years we participate in the Maryland Corvette Caravan, usually to include Virginia and North & South Carolina for the Labor Day Weekend NCM anniversary celebrations. We have a tent and reserved area at Corvettes at Carlisle every year.
