The Albuquerque Press Club is a private club primarily intended for and managed by members of the media, but also offering social memberships. Those who are not in town long enough to justify a membership purchase can still check the place out by calling for details on special events when the club opens its doors to non-members. This is well worth doing, as the Press Club is a truly unique part of the Albuquerque scene. Bars, billiards, music and more are offered in a truly bizarre and cool historic wooden building that is perched, seemingly precariously, on the edge of a hill and spreads over several floors.
