At New Directions For Women, we provide specialized addiction treatment tailored to the unique needs of women. With over four decades of experience, we have developed a women-focused model that has proven more effective for long-term recovery compared to traditional co-ed programs. This approach is based on understanding that women face specific life and treatment challenges, often exacerbated by higher rates of trauma and social risk factors. Our center offers a full continuum of care, from detox to outpatient services, enabling women to join the program at any stage of their recovery. We integrate innovative therapies like Narrative Therapy with traditional Dialectical Behavior Therapy and the principles of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, providing a comprehensive and effective treatment program. Our clinical ethos of "Love, Kindness, and Compassion in All Things" reflects the supportive and respectful environment we foster among clients and staff alike. New Directions For Women serves clients from diverse backgrounds, ages, and circumstances, all within a supportive all-women setting that encourages openness and healing. Our facility, located in the serene and safe environment of Costa Mesa, Southern California, is just a block away from Newport Beach’s Back Bay and Nature Preserve.
