United Way of Midland is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, self-sufficiency and health. These are the building blocks for a good life - a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. United Way works with local community leaders, government officials, businesses and volunteers to find the best solutions to problems many Midlanders face, such as assisting families to become self-sufficient, helping students succeed and stay in school, and making sure families and individuals are healthy. Although United Way does not give money or provide services directly to individuals, donations made to United Way are invested in many programs and collaborations that make Midland a better place to live.
