Dan holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. The path that led him to this profession started when he was very young and enrolled in an extracurricular Kung Fu and Tai Ji (Tai chi) program. Growing up, he not only developed a high degree of awareness and control over his own body and mental attention, he watched as many of his older classmates began to heal from their ailments through consistent practice of Tai Ji. Most importantly however, he was introduced to, and became enamored with, acupuncture and Chinese herbology; both of which were practiced by the head instructor at his school. By the time he was graduating High School his mind was already made up as to what he was going to do with his life and immediately began his education in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington.
