For 68 years, Bancroft School of Massage Therapy has been training individuals to become professional massage therapists. Students complete the full course of training in 9, 13 or 17 months. Students will study Anatomy & Physiology, Massage Techniques I and II (Swedish massage), Kinesiology, Regional Massage, Sports Massage & Repetitive Use Injuries, Pathology, Business Practices, Hydrotherapy, Introduction to Spa Techniques, Asian Massage Techniques and complete hours in our student massage clinic and complete Internship hours outside of school. Our program of study meets most state license requirements and students and graduates have lifetime career development support. Along with the training, Bancroft also offers massage therapy appointments by students and licensed graduates to the public (students are completing supervised hours of training in the clinic.)
